I am Chris Fisher.
I live on the Hampshire/Berkshire border.
Photography is my hobby, and I have created this website to share my
photographs with friends and family, and anyone else who stumbles upon
my site.
The nerdy bit...
Most of the photos on this site are taken with either a Canon EOS 30,
or EOS 20D. My favourite lenses are my Canon 100mm macro lens,
which I have used for many of the insect and flower photos on the site,
and a rather extravagant Canon 300mm L IS f4, which I sometimes combine
with a 1.4x teleconverter. A 28-135mm lens is used for most of
the builiding/travel shots on the site. I have just purchased a
70-200mm L f4 which, despite what my wife thinks, is a fantastic value
lens, and this lens was used for the seagull photos.
I will shortly add camera setting information to the photographs.
Thanks to friends and family for encouraging my hobby, and Margaret for
putting her fingers over her ears when I discuss prices in camera shops.
I will be adding more soon, so keep an eye out.
